PCAT delivers notifications to your dashboard when important events take place. For example, if you share an archive, project or dataset with a peer, that peer receives a notification the next time they log-in to PCAT. If a peer accepts or declines a request to code a dataset, the sender of the request receives a notification. There are also notifications when full-text search indexing, de-duplication or clustering tasks are completed.

Alternately, notifications can be accessed when users are not on the Dashboard. In the top right of the screen, you will see a small envelope icon next to the font size adjustment icons.

Click on the envelop to access your notification list.
