To create a new PCAT account, please click on the “register for new account” button at: http://pcat.qdap.net/

1. Select an available username and password and click “Continue–>“.
2. Provide us with your first and last name, a valid email address, your affiliation as well as the highest degree you have attained. Affiliation and highest degree could be entered as none.
3. We will immediately send you an email with a confirmation link. Click on the link in the email and then read and acknowledge the privacy statement.
4. Now your PCAT account is ready to use. Return to the home page and Log In.
5. Except when actively coding, your username will always be displayed in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

You can manage your account either by selecting “Account Management” on the dashboard page, or by using the “Account” drop-down menu located in the list of options across the top of the page. From either place you can change your password or update your other account information; you also can update your account information by clicking on your username in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

After you have created your PCAT account, if at any time you forget your password, you can reset it by clicking on the “Forgot Your Password?” button underneath the Log In fields on the PCAT home page. You will be asked to provide your username and its associated e-mail address. You will receive immediately receive a newly-created password.

You can change your password by selecting “Account Management” on the Dashboard or under the “Account” drop-down menu.

We periodically announce trainings, new feature roll-outs, and other system news. You can opt-out of these e-mails by selecting “Update Account Information” under the “Account” drop-down menu. On the “User Preferences Tab” click on the check box by the statement “Opt-out of system news e-mails?”.
