ContactGenerate summary reports to advance the analytic process
Once you have completed coding a dataset (or at any point during the process), you can review, print or save the results.
Note: Reports are available even if a dataset has not been locked.
To lock a dataset (and suspend coding by assigned peers), select “
View Datasets” from the Datasets drop-down menu. Click on the name of the dataset you want to lock then click on the “
Lock Dataset” button in the Toolbox. After selecting “
Lock Dataset”, choose “
Really Lock Dataset?”.
The browser will return to the page titled “
View Raw Datasets for Coding”. You can unlock a dataset to resume coding anytime.
To generate a dataset report:
Go to the “Reports” drop-down menu located at the top of the website.
Click on the “Report Facility” button. You will be redirected to a list of datasets to which you have been assigned.
Step 1: Select which type of report you want.
Step 2: Select the dataset for which you would like to generate a report. You can narrow down your datasets by selecting a specific project.
Now choose the coders and codes that you would like to include/exclude from your report. You may add or remove coders using the “coders to display” and "codes to display" features.
Select your display type. This can be a table, pie charts, or bar charts.
Step 3: Now choose the parameters of your report. You may select from a number of formats under the “Report format” list.
Final Step: Name your report and select "press here to create the report now". You may then choose to a.) generate your report as a PDF or b.) generate your report as an RTF file or c.) generate a "print-friendly page".
